The Adur Economic Partnership (AEP) is the voice for Adur, representing the local business viewpoint and reflecting the needs for a good local economy.

It offers business assistance and opportunities for joint working and partnerships to ensure that Adur is kept at the forefront of economic regeneration and development, working in partnership with economic development agencies to secure and promote competitiveness and economic growth in the local area.

The AEP is a membership-based organisation, currently with about 55 business and education members together with a number of local and neighbouring public sector organisations. The AEP retains a high local profile and many of the original Board members and partners continue to support and contribute to the work.

YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS IN ADUR PRESENTATION EVENING

The Young Entrepreneurs in Adur project was set up by the Adur Economic Partnership with the aim of encouraging young people aged between 18 and 30 to apply for five awards of up to £3000. Those eligible were required to be already running a business in the Adur area and in need of cash to expand or those with a new business proposal.

Applicants were required to submit business plans and those candidates selected took part in Dragons’ Den style presentations before a panel of assessors who themselves, were selected for their experience and expertise in the business community.
