Message From The Chairman
AEP Chairman, John Haffenden says:

Since its inception in 1994 the Adur Economic Partnership has achieved a significant amount.

It’s main work has been the managing of the funds in connection with the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and  Single Regeneration Bid (SRB) which saw considerable ‘seed funding’ put into economic projects in the area.  In addition, support in terms of manpower and finance was given to other areas, such as Shoreham Town Centre Partnership/Ropetackle and Community Activity in Adur.

The AEP Directors and it’s Members endeavour to ensure that the views and needs of local business and education are taken into account when development opportunities, which could lead to planning applications come forward.

Strong partnerships between local business and Adur District Council have been developed which have put the AEP in a strong position to be ready to move forward when any new government funding opportunities arise.

The AEP offers business assistance and opportunities for joint working and partnerships to ensure that Adur is kept at the forefront of economic regeneration and development.
